Personal Commissions
These commissions start with a consultation either in person or via email where we will discuss your needs and wants, possible ideas and run through the process in detail.
This is followed up with a photo shoot in my private dedicated photographic studio in which we create the required imagery for your personalised wall art or bespoke album. Captured images are reviewed throughout the shoot with adjustments and refinements made to posing and lighting as we go.

If anonymity is one of your primary concerns, then no need to worry. As you can see images can be retouched and modified or suitably cropped to eliminate facial features, tattoos, scars and other distinguishing features to suit your personal preference.

Once you have reviewed selection of images and made your final choice the artistic interpretation and printing process etc can begin.
What you end up with is a personal and unique artwork which can be displayed in a location of your choice. It can be something private and personal to you and displayed as such or you may prefer it to be on display in a more public space where it will become the ultimate conversation starter. The choice is yours.
The Process
THE "ART OF YOU" PROCESS
These shoots are both hugely rewarding and liberating but do take time and committment from both photographer and client. It is done with a step by step approach with you making the first step, that initial enquiry. That is actually the hardest part, after that we follow "the process" with you in full control the whole way.

Start with a simple message, just a question or expression of interest will do and we can go from there. Once contact has been made we can arrange complimentary consult in studio at a time which suits you.
1. THE CONSULT
Every Art Of You session starts with an initial personal consultation, either by email or in person at my Auckland studio. At this consultation we will discuss which images from my portfolio resonate with you the most and what you would like personally from your nude photo shoot. I will give you a lighting demonstraion, introduce you to the props and backgrounds available to you in your shoot and answer any questions you might have. This is a great opportunity for you to familiarise yourself with studio environment and myself and to make that important connection which will help ease any anxiety or nervousness.

From here I can design your session accordingly and figure out how you might want your final artwork presented.
2. BOOK YOUR PHOTO SHOOT
Once you feel ready to step up and undertake your very own bespoke art nude photo shoot experience we can talk about dates. All you have to do now is schedule a date for your photo shoot and transfer neccessary retainer. This is typically done within the week of your consultation. Retainer is non-refundable and goes towards securing myself as photographer and professional hair and makeup artist. As time progresses you can make any progress payments and supply me with any ideas/ inspiration you might have researched. This helps me prepare for shoot and also helps with flow of shoot.
3. PHOTOSHOOT DAY
You will arrive at pre determined time and I will introduce you to one of our fabulous makeup artists. Where possible I will try and match you in regards to personality and interests to help add a little more to your experience. You can chat with makeup artist and discuss how you would like to see yourself and then sit back and relax while she enhances your natural features. Once hair and makeup is done (approximately 1.5 hours) we will proceed to the studio and sit down and chat about how the shoot will unfold. I will be fully prepared and have your own ideas/ inspiration on hand. We wil start with whatever you are comfortable with and go from there. I will show you the resulting images as we go so you can decide if you want to make any adjustments to posing, lighting etc. I will direct you verbally (I never physically touch my clients when giving direction) and will coach you into poses which suit your tastes and body type without losing what is essentially you. I will also explain why I am posing you in a particular way, so not just a photo shoot but an education as well!
4. CREATING YOUR FINAL ART WORK
A few days after your photo shoot I will email you with a private link and password to your unedited proof images. These images are as you saw them on the day and from these you get to choose your favourite images to move forward with. This is something you do, not me. Image selection is a very personal thing with nobody else having the same same connection to them as you. This is done in the privacy of your own home or office and at your leisure. There are no hard sell techniques involved, all pricing is open and upfront so there are no unexpected surprises. Once you have made your final choices I will get into the post processing of images and re present them to you in a manner previously discussed.

I will guide you through whole shoot, stopping to discuss and refine the finest details as we go. This will specific to your body type and tastes.
Professional Editing
Each Image is individually retouched with skin smoothing, blemish removal and more if desired. You have control over this process.
One On One Communication
I will guide you through the whole process from start to finish. No automated email replies, all questions answered. This is not my first rodeo, you are in great hands.
